"If you don't like something, change it. It you can't change it, change your attitude"

At Uncommon Sense, we provide a number of different coaching and mentoring options covering short-term and long-term.

• Fast fix – immediate improvement
• Motivation, confidence & decision making
• Team building & delivering growth
• Budget & target setting
• Creating a sales culture

We also offer a NED engagement solution should you require us to join your board on a part-time basis.

It all starts with YOU.

Before we create a plan for any business, we first have to find out why the company or senior stakeholders want to engage a mentor. To do this we work with you to:

  • Review and identify the salespersons experience
  • Help the salesperson to identify individual strengths and areas for development
  • Discuss professional and work issues
  • Agree what support is required
  • Explore the options open to the seller
  • Consider coaching on specific skills
  • Support the salesperson to set achievable realistic and stretching action plans

To ensure you get the best value from us as mentors, it’s key we agree the objectives at the outset. To help us do that we create a specific agenda which outlines our plans for the day. We’ll send this to you, along with a selection of questions prior to our meeting. If you can spend some quality time considering these, you should be fully prepared when we meet on the actual day.

How long will it take to transform your sales team?

Our relationship with a company ranges from as little as one year, to an ongoing mentoring engagement which would see us imbedded into your business development function. It all depends on your needs and the scope of the training.

Sessions are initially monthly in the first quarter, followed by a further six sessions over the remaining three quarters.

“I am a recent graduate, so it was important to me to find a company that would offer me mentoring opportunities that matched my current level of experience. I was able to find a company that offered me a mentoring engagement that would allow me to work closely with the company’s management team, and develop my skills and experience with their business challenges and needs. I am excited to see how my relationship with the company will develop over the next year and am sure I will be able to share my experience and knowledge with the company in return.”
